HEBRON, IL (January, 2006) - Filtertek, a leading designer and manufacturer of filters launched a new line of 50mm filtration products. This product line is designed for venting or liquid filtration applications in the biotechnology, pharmaceutical, and food and beverage industries. Filtertek's 50mm products are offered in an overmolded version with various port configurations for the medical device, laboratory, and process filtration markets.

Filter performance can be optimized through the selection of media. Whether for sterilization of gasses for medical procedures, microbial filtration of protein solutions, or venting applications, Filtertek can provide membrane alternatives for the customer to qualify and validate for its particular application.

Production is current located at Filtertek's Hebron manufacturing plant. This facility has 100,000 clean room manufacturing, is ISO certified, and FDA registered.
